We believe the 66
books of the Bible are God's true word. We believe that God gave his
word to men of old and has preserved his word for us today. We
believe the Bible as written. We believe that no created being,
past, present or future, has the authority to change the meaning of God's
word. We do not believe in man made systems of theology. We believe
what God actually said. We believe God said what he meant not what
someone's opinion of what he meant.
We believe in one
God, the Father, the Almighty, Creator and Ruler of heaven and earth and
everything that exists both seen and unseen, who is revealed as the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, each equal in every Divine
perfection. We believe in the God of Abraham.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God; that Christ was
born of the virgin Mary; that Christ suffered and died for the sins of all
who believe; that Christ was buried and rose physically from the dead on
the third day; that Christ ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand
of the Majesty on high; that salvation is only through Jesus Christ
the Lord; that salvation in its beginning, continuance and completion is
God's free gift; that eternal salvation is of the Lord; that Christ was
the Word made flesh; that Christ perfectly obeyed the law; that Christ was
both God and man; that Christ will come again to gather his elect to be
with Himself; that in Christ we (from every tribe and language and people
and nation) are God's elect from eternity; called out from the world, not
according to our works but according to God's own purpose and grace;
that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and mankind; that Jesus
Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one can come to God
except by Him.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds
from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped
and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe the Holy
Spirit indwells, teaches and guides all who receive Christ.
We believe that Adam's sin brought condemnation and death to himself and
all mankind; that all of mankind is born into spiritual death and are in
need of salvation; that only God who is Sovereign can remove the sinner
from darkness into His marvelous light; that only God can make the dead
come to life both spiritually and physically.
We believe in the free offer of eternal life in the gospel to all and the
aggravated guilt of all those who reject Christ.
We believe in the necessity of being born again by the Holy Spirit, as
Jesus told Nicodemus; of redemption from sin; of repentance toward God and
faith in Christ.
We believe each believer is redeemed, justified and adopted into God's
family through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe Christ commanded the church to observe two ordinances; the
Lord's Supper and baptism; the Lord's Supper is open to all who believe in
Christ; that baptism should be by immersion and performed upon one's
confession of faith in Christ.
We believe the church should meet on the Lord's day (upon the first day of
the week) with other believers to worship our Savior, God and King.
We believe that when this present life ends every true believer will enter
at once into conscious blessedness with the Lord and all others into
torment and eternal separation from God.
We believe in the resurrection of the body; the righteous to eternal life
at the coming of Christ; the wicked to eternal punishment after the 1000
reign of Christ on earth.
We believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman.
We believe that gender is determined at
birth and cannot be changed.
We believe that homosexuality is sinful
and an abomination to God but that anyone who receives Jesus and
repents can be saved.
